Power outage at RHV
8/18/2020 12:00
Power has been restored to the airport terminal building and all vehicle gates are operating as expected. At least one of the RHV based fuel providers continues to experience power issues resulting in an inability to pump fuel.
8/17/2020 12:00
Beginning yesterday afternoon, it appears that the voltage on the power supplied to the airport dropped below the level required to operate some equipment and machinery. As of 11:15 today (Monday), PG&E did not have an estimated time of repair. This has affected the electric gates and some of the equipment inside the terminal building. As a result, we have closed the terminal and put a chain and lock on the primary entrance and exit gates at RHV for manual operations.
If you need assistance today, please call the operations line 408-918-7700 x77901 to be connected with the ops staff. But please understand that due to the power issues, the phones may not be operational and staff may not have computer access. These challenges may result in a delayed response to any requests you have.
The combination for the primary entrance and exit gates at RHV has been emailed to you. Please help us to maintain the security of the airport by ensuring the gate is closed and locked behind you.
If you have any other questions, don’t hesitate to contact me.
